The National Hotel register from Bedford, Pa. contains 315 (of 500) manuscript pages. The register lists guests' names, place names (mostly from Pennsylvania) and the date. There is no record of the number of nights each guest spent nor the charges for rooms. The second half of the register is titled "Barley House." Women are occasionally entered under "Miss" or "Mrs."
