"--Couldn't be fairer" [videorecording] / written .... by Mick Miller ; produced and directed by Dennis O'Rourke ; O'Rourke and Associates Filmmakers Pty. Ltd. ; produced in association with the British Broadcasting Corporation
Depicts a side of Australian aboriginal society hidden from the eyes of most whites, including problems of alcoholism, racial violence, and political oppression. Within the context of the aboriginal land-rights battle in Queensland, activist Mike Miller allows the viewer to hear the voices of aboriginal Australians as they discuss the effects on their communities of commercial enterprises such as tourism and mining. The program is intended to project disturbing images of aboriginal poverty, white prejudice, and racial conflict.
