- The contents of this collection include Jesse Smith Flory's class materials, such as textbooks and notes, mostly pertaining to forestry and agriculture. It includes report cards and matriculation cards from 1927 to 1929. There are several programs for university activities, such as a military ball and fraternity dances and personal items, such as an address book, greeting cards, and a diary. Also included are William Flory's notes from the 1924 school year, including courses in mechanical arts and dairy husbandry.

- Administrative History:
- Jesse Smith Flory, Penn State graduate (landscape architecture, 1931) from East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, was a member of Alpha Zeta, Y.M.C.A. Council, Architects' Club, Topian Society, Scarab, and Activities Editor for La Vie yearbook. His brother, William Bradford Flory, attended the two-year agriculture program, graduating in 1925.
