The two hundred and seventy-one issues were collected in two volumes, with prefatory material and indexes, along with collective title pages bearing the title: 'The lucubrations of Isaac Bickerstaff Esq;' and the imprint: London : printed: and sold by John Morphew, near Stationers-Hall; the volumes are dated 1710 and 1711 respectively.
The number of issues bound in each collected volume may vary from copy to copy.
Imprint may vary; some title pages read: "by J. Morphew"; individual issues also exist in several states, some lacking colophons.
At foot of vol. II title page: Note, the bookbinder is desired to place the index after Tatler, no. 271. which ends the second volume in folio.
Steele and Addison were no longer associated with 'The Tatler after no. 271; John Morphew continued the publication, and was joined by William Harrison as editor from no. 285-330 (3 Feb.-19 May 1711); short-lived rival continuations were also printed by John Baker and Ann Baldwin.
