Concludes on p. 15: "What the sentiments of that excellent man, Mr. Jonathan Mitchel, Mr. Shepards immediate successor, were, concerning the controverted questions, with his argumentations about them, is to be seen in the description of his life, now in the press. Finis."
Editorial additions tentatively attributed to Cotton Mather, who is likely to have had this work printed while he was finishing Ecclesiastes, the biography of Jonathan Mitchel advertised in the final paragraph of the text.
