- Biographical or Historical Sketch
- The Greater Chester Movement was founded in Chester, Pennsylvania, in 1964 as a way to address the city's economic problems. The Movement grew out of the Kennedy-Johnson War on Poverty, a topic featured in Johnson's 1964 State of the Union Address. The Greater Chester Movement was formed by Governor William Scranton and local business and civic leaders, with Clarence Moll as chair, and eventually became Delaware County's Federal Anti-Poverty Agency.
