Vol. 1-17 have data on nationality, mother tongue, age and literacy; v.18-34, data on occupation and social standing; v.35-51, data on family status, movement of population, cripples and mental defectives; v.17, 34 and 51-52 have summaries for the whole USSR, other vols. contain returns by regions; v.52 has data on unemployment; v.53-54, records of real estates and tenancy, and v.55-56, the family in urban settlements.
