- Biographical or Historical Sketch
- Charles N. Landon was the founder of the Landon School of Illustration and Cartooning. He was an illustrator who worked for The Cleveland Press, Cosmopolitan, and the Newspaper Enterprise Association. Guy H. Lockwood was a cartoonist and socialist political activist who lived in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was a political leader within the Socialist Party of Michigan and published several political pamphlets. He owned the Lockwood Publishing Company. He opened the The Lockwood Studio in 1920 to teach art students.
